This was my first plant and everything went great until week 1 of flower some balls started to appear i plucked them but now the balls are a cancer. I want to grow it to finish for the experience of my first grow. This is how it looks now. There are BALLS EVERYWHERE. If i try to remove them all it would be impossible . the pictures do not do it justice how much of a cancer the balls are. It breaks my heart because ive put months and months of hard work and love into my first grow to have it turn into a tranny. Question: will i get anything smokeable out of this? Please lmk your thoughts thanks
All you can really do now would be let it do its thing till harvest. I would keep picking as many pollen sacks off as I could still to prevent further seeding. Was this bagseed or where did you get the seeds? You should still definately be able to smoke it, my last run I pollinated my whole tent on purpose to make fem seeds so all my bud was seeded and there was still quite a bit of smokable nugs. Some were surprisingly completed unpollinated and even the seeded ones just pick out your seeds before you grind it. I found that the stuff you pull seeds out of still has the husks in it kind of tastes wierd and the bud is nowhere near the unpollinated product in quality but still gets you by.
Is it in the tent by itself if so why not . If it hasn't pollinated any other plants in the area it soon will so if you got other plants I would get rid of it. If it's your only plant then grow it if you want I don't think I would. I'd get started on the next thing
With it being your first grow and all....I say go ahead and grow it all the way out...... I'm sure you will salvage some of it to be able to smoke.....but don't get your hopes up on getting oz's upon oz's of Grade A from it...
Hey its only 1 plant in there. And thanks foe the feedback im going to finish it up since ive already put so much into it and see what happens. If anything this will be a hell of a first grow experience and my next grow will be betyer than ever
I dont know for sure. I got this as week 3 veg plant from a friend who grew it from a seed picked from an outdoor plant. Basicly he fucked me was my thought. He had this in the middle of many others and wanted to get it off before it showed its true colors. The other thing it could be is that i had a period of 3 days that a fan had broken and temperatures spiked insanely in the tent which put a tremendous amount of stress. Whatever it was i know now 2 things. Maintain temperature carefully, and be 100% sure of feminization. Along with many other things ive learned thrkugh this grow
Now this is true.......OP, if you didn't know.....you will now.......MAKE SURE you wipe down your grow room/tent after that male has been in there or your next crop could come out seed-filled.
Just clean your tent n light and everything walls in the room it's in. Your next crop could get pollinated . Grow it out for your 1st time just for the experience u will get some smoke off it I've had really good hermie bud before.
