HIGH All, don't know why it's not for potted plants...anywho..it's got time released ferts which are no good for newly started plants...if you can get some better soil and Transplant before you start having problems.
is worth tryin 2 still gro them can they b saved will i have problems or can i take steps to make sure my plant still grows healthy
Yes they can be saved but you want to use soil that has no ferts in it for the first two weeks, you can then transplant them back into the Miricle grow soil if you want. Mostly, MG soil is frowned upon as it is too chemically but you did buy the organic soil which some say works out fine. You just need to get the little sprouts out of the ferted soil into cups of regular soil for the first few weeks, or you can try leaving them alone and just check on them every few hours. The problem is they will look fine and then a few hours later, you check and the plant is lying down with a burnt stem which sucks.
ive never heard of MG or other ferts being BAD for any stages of growth other than bloom ... giving it a chem taste .... why would the plants "burn" and fall over ??
to much fert will kill a plant very quickly ..... not enough fert will kill a plant very slowly.......... MG is notorious with plant deaths specially the time released soil. After a few watering the "time release" starts to break down ... once it does it pretty much OD's your plant specially if its young and not very well established
ive never had a single death linked to MG ... for instance a plant dies in the pot ... gets pulled and i recirculate the soil and a healthy one placed in the same soil ... grow it smoke it ENJOY no ill affects ..... been at it 3 yrs n no probs from it ... start to finish ... ANY WAY breathe should be fine with the soil originally posted huh?
yes but what works for some doesn't always work for others ........ that soil should be fine since it is organic....... but why it says not for planters is a mystery
