Please help (potential deficiency)

  1. my autoflower plant is 4 weeks old. She is doing well and starting to show pistils. Some of the leaves tips are brown. Even some of the new leaves are a bit brown. As you can see on the pictures there are also spots on some leaves. Am I dealing with bugs or is this due to a deficiency? Help is always appreciated :) thanks!

  2. The leaf tips is due to nute burn. The white spots may be the beginning stages of thrip damage, but I'm not 100% certain on that. I don't know what kind of lights you're using, but from the looks of the plant and how she looks pretty "stretchy" you're going to need more or a better light.

  3. I have 2 cfl lamps and one led growlight above the plants. The leds came in yesterday and i started lst today. I only gave them nutrients just once. The soil that I use has nutrients in it “for a couple months”. Could the nutrient burn be because of this? I had to be a bit crafty for my setup ;) (picture) Thanks a lot!

  4. Yea the stretching was due to those CFL's. They're only good for the first couple of weeks of veg. After that you would need a much better light or you should've added more CFL's. So in a way, you were a bit late in ordering those LED's lol. But the stretching should stop now that you added it. As far as the nutes go, yes, you may have added those extra nutes a bit too soon. Either stop feeding her those extra nutes or give her smaller doses.

  5. Thanks for the advice! I only gave 1/4 of the regular amount of nutes. So its a bit weird that the plants show these signs. I guess the soil already had too much nutrients in it?

  6. Yes. What kind of soil are you using, Fox Farm?
