Hey guys ive been having some problems with my iolite for a couple weeks now and i was wondering if anyone can give me some tips. The problem is that when i turned it on it heats up once and then stops unless I smack it on something, however since im judging the time myself so it usually overheats or underheats. Ive sent an email to iolites customer support but i here there not very good. Any tips on how to fix. (Hopefully without voiding the warranty)
Are u using the right butane? i had a problem with mine. mine wouldn't stay on either. but i found out that my butane can was actually the problem. the tip of the can was bent slightly sideways, making the fuel line not connect with the iolite. i bought a new butane and the iolite works fine.
