Please Help Me Identify These Plants

Discussion in 'Gardening' started by Chunk6915, Dec 15, 2018.

  1. No idea but when im foraging I use a plant identifier app. Have a look online, there are loads available. Snap the plant and it will come up with suggestions.

  2. I rubbed them, they smell minty and kinda like rosemary.

  3. MMMMM lamb cooked with rosemary, shallots and and balsamic vinegar glaze....served with mint sauce mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  4. I definitely think it is rosemary, when they get larger it will be more obvious I'm sure.

  5. Arent rosemary leaves much thinner?

  6. Being seedlings yet, they may look like this. The leaves are super thin, but I am not sure yet about what exactly this is. That is just my best guess, as their fragrance rules out many other options. It could be some kind of pine tree maybe...

  7. I think it is Lavender.

  8. Yep I'm pretty much sure it is lavender at this point, I contacted the seller and let them know it is the wrong seed. They are working on a solution, likely a replacement. :)

  9. I got a refund, since they were the wrong seeds. I repotted them and will keep growing until they flower - as I want to know if I was right. The lemon balm is looking like actual lemon balm - ill post pics later.

  10. But don't toss the lavender because it's a truly awesome plant. Calming and perfect if you ever decide to make a cannabis/ lavender balm.

  11. I thought it looked a bit like young sage. Either way, a useful herb. :smoke:
