I've grown hydro indoor before but only ever got male plants. I want to try again but this time have a separate box for vegetative growth. (Hopes to increase harvests.) My idea is to use one of these bins that is about 14 inches tall for the box. (Will coat inside with reflective mylar.) One of these for the reservoir about 4 inches tall. (Will black out reservoir container to prevent algee growth / root rot.) This to hold the plant A cheap air pump + stone that will be good enough for tiny plants These to monitor and maintain the reservoir's water Here is a diagram I made My questions are How do I install the fans? How do I install the lights? What do I use to cut the plastic? What do I use to drill holes for the tubing/cords?
Wow that's gonna be one tiny ass grow man. I'd get some small computer fans and mount them for air flow. I'd use CFLs for lights. Maybe a power strip with some plug in sockets, then screw in some bulbs. To cut it I'd I'm use an exacto knife or box cutter. To drill the holes I'd use... A drill lmao.
I know it seems small but I have another box a little bigger for flowering. Would a hand drill be able to drill through the plastic?
