Hey Guys, first post… I’m absolutely bugging out. Someone please help! Is this plant a hermie? I currently have 2 plants. This is my first grow and I accidentally sent the other plant into flowering early because I tried to use supplementary lighting. The second plant has been developing buds for 10 days now but I am not seeing any pistils. Also, the center of the colas feel really dense. Are these pollen sacs or new growth? Should I trash it?
I think you need a clearer photo of the nodes you are talking about. Do that and I'll let you know what i think Sent from my SM-S918U using Grasscity Forum mobile app

I believe it's a boy; frustrating reality of working with weed - two to three months of anticipation evaporates in a few days as balls drop.
I say that cause I recently bought some super lemon auto and was chucking them out thinking they were immature males WRONG and went thru the trash looking to re start them ...lol be warned
If there is a firm seed like growth in the center of the cola is it safe to assume that is a pollen sac? Everything else considered?
Regardless of advertising and testimonials weed is ,by nature a fickle plant and hermies can crop up. I've had clearly female parts that predate the appearance of the dangly bits. Two days before I admitted the crushing defeat with my pictured specimen, I was lulled into a false sense of pride seeing pistils but then realized the undeniable with full on manly structure in the following presentation.
I killed the plant lol… wasn’t going to risk it. 11 days into the 12/12 cycle and it wasn’t flowering. It was developing these small dense pods in the middle of the colas and it has those small pouches by the nodes. I hope I caught it early and didn’t accidentally spread the pollen. I wasn’t really thinking and touched the flowering plant after feeling around in the colas of the plant I thought was a hermie lol. Well, I guess you live and you learn. The flowering plant is looking pretty good for a first time grow if you ask me. Now I guess I can focus on the one ♂️
The first pics you posted show no signs of male or hermie man.. what you're seeing is new vegetation growing. Some plants can just take a little longer to start flowering than others. Bummer you trashed it so soon! Sent from my LM-X420 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
You do realize you have plenty of time to get rid of a male or hermie before pollen spreads and after it's 100% confirmed.......which yours wasn't. No need to jump to conclusions without firm evidence........you may have needlessly killed a female.
