    what kind or marijuana would you suggest for a first timer to grow indoors?

    Yes. You need to do a whole lot of READING before you do anything. All the fundamentals have been covered ad infinitum here. Read the grow guides, sticky posts, check the links in my sig, and use the search button. Invest hours, like everyone else here did at one point. It takes a little work but educating yourself is the only real way.
