Ok so I am growing in miracle grow potting soil and this is day 77 from seed. Sex was visible at day 37. I switched to 12/12 at day 40. Girls are under 900w viparspectra LED. I fed 3-1-3 grow nutes in distilled water since day 7 every second watering. Tiny pot-1 gallon fabric-5 gallon fabric which is the current home. Switched to 1.1-1.7-4.2 bloom nutes in week 2 of 12/12. Girls were thriving and looked great until the one of them started losing its green a bit. Didn’t notice until the leaves started yellowing on the bottom fans. After a week of this I decided to give some veg nutes again fearing nitrogen def. Also got cal-mag and started feeding that as well. did not help, only got worse. Got some advice from a hydro Store, and got a pH pen gave the sick girl a good flush with pH water and checked the run off at 6.5. Things got worse. Faster. After getting advice from another forum I let them dry out Because I was told I was over watering due to my pictures and having had just flushed her. Here we are about two weeks later and now my sugar leaves are also displaying symptoms. Not knowing what else to do last feeding which was just a few days ago I mixed a little bit of veg nutes with the bloom nutes and it’s not helping. I also tried a nitrogen foliar spray a couple weeks ago and noticed no difference. Her twin right beside her has had the same feedings and treatment and looks beautiful no problems at all. Haven’t seen any bugs at all. Sorry if I’ve forgotten anything I could really use some help and I know I’ve made some mistakes but there is a lot of information out there to sift through. 82DD4513-20BC-450D-9C45-E7714DB7F742 by GreenBandit0 posted Jul 30, 2019 at 7:09 PM DB820042-0807-47D3-A26A-02949079B3CE by GreenBandit0 posted Jul 30, 2019 at 7:09 PM 59072409-1A63-47E4-88CD-F6FDD2917D96 by GreenBandit0 posted Jul 30, 2019 at 7:09 PM CF81C75C-9DD7-47F7-BF3E-42FFB2F20CA0 by GreenBandit0 posted Jul 30, 2019 at 7:09 PM 70E4E13B-7C7E-4D7F-8669-9937FF418BB7 by GreenBandit0 posted Jul 30, 2019 at 7:09 PM 98D2318C-D430-4091-9F3A-EA80603FFACB by GreenBandit0 posted Jul 30, 2019 at 7:09 PM
Lemme give you a couple of charts to look at. I'm seeing a resemblance to magnesium deficiency. I don't know... but these can keep you busy until an expert comes along;
Thanks too slow. Mag Deficiency was the first thing I was told to try so I got the Cal mag. She’s been fed that in her water for three or four feedings now and I’ve noticed no difference over the past three weeks.
I was also afraid it was a pH lock out because it looks that there could be multiple problems, although the magnesium deficiency does look pretty close. I guess I just don’t know what to do now that I have tried feeding those nutrients and they’re not seeming to take. I did the flush after that and then fed more nutes the feeding after that. Am I doomed?
At no time did I suggest (or mean to suggest) what is wrong with your plant or what course of action you should take; I just don't have that level of expertise. Hopefully, someone will pick up the ball...
No problem I was just agreeing with what you saw. Just trying to give as much info as possible. I appreciate any insight.
So when ur soil is dry ready to water or feed, do this Take a large shot glass of soil from ur plant and the same amount of distilled water and put in a cup. Stir around. Than put one meter in and get a reading. Than the other. So that will give u the true pH of ur soil. The ppms will tell u if ur plants are eating ur feeds or if they are hungry. So if I get a reading of 350 or under I feed. If it's over 350 i water. It's just that simple Sent from my SM-G935T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Slurry will always tell u what is going on in soil! Won't tell u if it's n p or k but will tell u if u have lock out Sent from my SM-G935T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I will try that next feed Papa puff. I only have a PH pen. How can I measure PPM? Is that a different probe?
Yes u can get a cheap one at hydro or maybe a garden shop or Amazon! Next time u grow use Happy frog soil if u can get it. Get the cheapest PERLITE they have. Not miracle grow. They even put feed in that!! Swing by my thread anytime! Great crew of friendly OGs.
