Please help! Are my leaves growing the wrong way?

So this is my first attempt at a small cupboard grow. I planted my seedlings about 8 days ago and 2 of them are going pretty much as expected. However the third one acted a bit differently producing huge cotyledons. When the first true leaves emerged after a couple of days they sprouted in the same direction as the cotyledons and remain really small still. Now it looks like there is a second set of true leaves growing below the first ones, above the cotyledons!??? These ones are coming out to the sides as I had expected the first ones would.

I'd really appreciate it if any of you guys could give me some advice, if this is normal or if you've seen it before?
