we have a really good file sharing network here at college and ive recently been downloading alot of tv shows and i want to watch them on my tv, how is the best way to go about doing this?
depends what format you have got them try winavi to convert them to dvd then simply burn to a blank dvd or try using nero to convert to vcd and burn to a cd my opinion but everyone does it differently
Google is your friend, mang. but dude www.search.chacha.com You can click on " search with a guide " after you type in your question...and you talk a real person, and if they do'nt find it, they transfer you until they get it. It's amazing. I'm always really polite to them. I love it.
If both your TV and computer have S-video than I'd imagine that's the easiest way to go about it. My TV doesn't though, so I have some switch contraption that converts from S-video to RCA.
Junkiedays has it. S-Video is the most common for video outs, and you've probably got one of those on your tv. If you don't, then get an RF switch, and it'll convert it from s-vid into either RCA or Coax, which is just your standard cable cable, for cable.
depends on how old your pc is the best route for you is as follows check out newegg tigerdirect or any other cheap online outlet all you're looking for is a tv out feature (you're tv needs to have at least one free composite video input) on the cheapest pci graphics card you can find any nvidia based pci card w/ tv out will do you some old old old ass ones with 16-64mb can be had for under 20 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1160567&Tab=2&NoMapp=0
cause its a 12inch screen on the laptop and a 37inch tv? is that a reason i think so thanks Ars for giving all the info that i could possibly need
HAHAHA this is hilarious i just made a thread about this...i have the answer to your problem...check my thread http://forum.grasscity.com/general/137362-rare-vga-s-video-rca-cable.html
You need an S-video to RCA cable, look online for them you can get em in all different lengths/types. Hook the S-video to your s-video out input on your GC then hook the RCA jacks to your TV. They also have stereo setups for recievers and stuff
what model? haven't seen many lappies with composite out on back if you're already loaded down with misc parts and love soldering http://www.tkk.fi/Misc/Electronics/circuits/vga2tv/ or http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=578791&CatId=1428 could avoid risking your laptop on stoner nights out with something like this http://www.supermediastore.com/gala...ure-multimedia-center-silver.html#description
