Screenshot_20210304-163354.png First time grower here. These are on day 8.

The large ones are growers choice afghan. And the 4 closest seedlings are as well... The 5 on the right are growers choice gelato.

All planted at the same time using miracle grow potting soil. They seemed to be thriving while I was putting them outdoors at sunrise and bringing them in. Under 2 shop lights at night.

Recently bought an mars hydro ts-1000 kit. Running the light at full power at 18" above plants (was previously only maybe 20" until yesterday.

It seems as if the moment I switched them to indoors , applied humidity (phoenix currently only 6% so I added a humidifier), they took a turn for the worst. They have stopped growing all together. All if them . Running at 24/7 light.

Switched the largest ones to 1 gallon pots and a mixture 70/30 black Gold organic/perlite.

All planted at the same time....another change I made once the seedling seemed to have gotten established was switching from distilled water to the sparklets drinking water that I have delivered.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  2. Drooping is a sign of overwatering.

I'd let em dry out. How much are you watering them?

  3. You are describing early stages of LED overload. Dim your lights to like 25% or raise them to 3 feet or more above the canopy.

  5. Thanks gentlemen ,

I was told to water twice daily as seedlings and so I did that. Realized they should probably just get a hefty watering evety3-4 days as the soil drys.

I never knew too much light was a thing. Raised the light 3 ft because I got the temp/humidity stabilized and I don't wish to change anything that might throw it off so I'm leaving it at 100%

The miracle grow was what I had on hand and I was being impatient. Definitely went and bought some black gold organic / perlite. That's what is in those larger black pots. Would it be unwise to try and transfer those seedlings into a new medium yet ?

This is so fun lol new hobby. Learning stuff.

  7. Good rule of thumb is water after the pots feel light. You can noticeably tell after a watering how much in weight they increase, when they're light, they're ready for water. Can also gauge if your top soil is dry an 1/2inch to an inch down depending on pot size.

Can you provide brand/model number of the lights? If they are just regular shop lights I wouldn't have them quite 3 feet high.. I kept mine around 12"-16" with 175w LED shop lights.

I have had very little issues with Foxfarm Ocean Forest + Foxfarm Happy Frog + Natures Living Soil combination.
Give it some Blood meal and a little more Natures Living Soil in the mid vegetative stage, and bone meal + cal mag in the flowering stage.. So far so good for me anyways, fingers crossed.

  8. An update.

After repotting to a 40% perlite, 50% black gold organic and 10% food grade DE mix, they seem to be coming back slowly but surely. I'm not entirely sure what caused it but after having 15 seedlings it looks as though only 2 maybe 3 will flourish. The others seem to be in this perpetually stunted/deformed growth state. I've since just put those outside to see how they do. The 5 most promising have been kept indoors. Here they are around 5 weeks. From seed twitch.tv/rjp11043 . If the image gets blurred or frozen just give it a minute or two it should streighten itself out .

  9. I kept my stunted one to grow still, appears to me I got a QP from my regular plant, and looking like it's gonna be a bit smaller with the stunted
