after getting my plants started I set them outside about the middle of may. about the middle / late june I noticed that they were beginning to sex ( if that's the proper term ) . close to half of them have become hermaphrodite. I've never had them turn this early and never had as many become hermaphrodite. usually around here ( southside Virginia ) they won't sex until around the middle of august. any thoughts or ideas on this will be most appreciated. thanks
My .02$ but bear in mind, its early, and I did a wake n bake so take this for what it's worth. I wonder if the seeds you are using may have come from a 'modified' plant. I assume there has been work done on increasing production. Another possibility may be the soil and fertilizer. Are you using the exact same formula as before?
