Plants Producing Seeds

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by rajakutai, Mar 11, 2015.

  1. Hi all.. I have a question: Can female cannabis plants contain seeds if a male plant didn't pollenate them? I found some seeds from one of my ladies. I tossed all my male plants. I'm wondering, are those seeds I found viable for planting? I'm curious because they look ripe and ready to plant. Looking forward to hearing your replies. Thanks

  2. Are you inside or outdoors? If inside it might have came from a hermie and the seed could also have hermie traits so i wouldnt suggest using it from what i've read

  3. Sounds like one of your plants hermied...

You plant had to be pollinated by something...

You can try plant them, but there is a chance that the plants they produce will be more susceptible to being hermies...

  4. If outside then there's a male growin somewhere around you.

  5.
Yeah...pollen can travel for miles with the help of insects or if the wind catches it...

  6. Thanks for the reply everyone.. I'm planting indoors. I want to try to plant them but I'm worried they're duds.
