plants out in the cold

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by Vortexx, May 12, 2010.

  1. So the last week or two has been really nice, all sunny a tiny bit of rain and pretty warm. My seeds just sprouted and about two days ago i decided to put them outside. Now this week it has gotten kind of cold, rainy, and cloudy. Pretty much what I'm asking if i should bring them back indoors or leave them out? I dont have a good light source for them. But at night its like 45-50 degrees out.

  2. if its where u can bring them in at night back out in morn

  3. they are hardy weeds man.

takes a lot to kill em. I got a few out in 40f temps as well and although they appear a little stunted in growth by the temps - im thinkin they'll surely grow huge when it warms up in the next few weeks.

edit: last year i left my plants out until snow, people usually chop them at first frost around here, and thats pretty damn cold like 30f degrees

  4. I think i will leave em out and see how it goes.

  5. Lucky west coaster my shit doesn't go out for 3 weeks.gettin lil cramped

  6. I have run them down into the 30s and they survive just fine. Growth will def be stunted but it will recover as it warms up.

If they are still in pots, yea they will grow faster if you bring them inside at night and shine any old fluoro on them.
