Plants coming down in a couple weeks

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Antdro707, Jun 4, 2018.

  1. Hey so I planted these popped seeds in soil on 3/7/18 under a 18/6 light schedule. Flipped them to a 12/12 light schedule on 4/21/18. I’m planning to flush them for 2 weeks and cut them down around 6/23/18. But I was wondering if you guys think they look close or should I wait longer before I cut em down?

  2. there is only one way to tell if they are truly ready. Get a handheld microscope off amazon and look at the trichomes.

  4. For sure thanks, what do YOU look for when deciding if it’s time to flush and finish?

  5. Just based on the color of the pistils alone - at least 3 weeks left - maybe more. Get a microscope to be sure.

  6. A guide on when to harvest.

    Here's a link to a sticky.

It's kind of short and sweet and I can't see the pictures anymore but it'll give you some take away info.

Plus if you read the thread posts you'll see the questions, comments, and pictures that can help explain in detail a few things im sure you'll be questioning on your journey forward.

Beautiful plants man, good luck .

  7. The color of the trichomes are the only real way to tell, you never chop if they are clear, if you like head high with a lil energy chop when they are milky white and amber is couch lock relaxation while dark amber/chocolate is night night meds, hope this helps HAPPY GROWING!

Resist the urge to chop early!!! I know it’s there but trust me, your patience will be rewarded. You have some pretty girls there and the WW is one of my favorite smokes. I don’t know what you’ve been feeding them, but a good hardener like Overdrive really swells them calyxes for the last couple weeks before flush. Good luck and nice job on your first grow!!!

  20. you are still at least a few weeks out give or take, all those white pistils are telling you to wait. Trust us, and don't chop early. Many of us have done it when we were new, and regret it.
