Plants are dying help!

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by MIke86ekim, Dec 22, 2018.

  1. Please help. These plants are 28 days into flower up to day 25 they were perfect.over the last 5 days they have been discoloring horribly. I have no idea what's happening.
I was feeding 6ml cal mag , 5ml koolbloom , 2,4,6 of general hydroponics and 3ml sturdy stock with 1/2 teaspoon unsulphered mollasis ph 6.0.

1st things i did whenni noticed this issue was raise light ro 20" flush plants amd give regular feeding. The next day it was worst .

3rd day i fed again with 6.5 ph water with 3.0 calmag thats all. I used the drops to ph with strips as my guages wernt working.

4th day today i installed a net anf raised lights to mac 28" i have no idea what to do they are dying and its getting worst.

My ph guages were garbage and didnt work i have a new one ordered that will be reliable but wont be here for a bit.

    Any advise please.

  2. That looks like a toxicity problem. Have you tried dialing back to straight water with a good flush? Can your setup take that?
I'm in organic so I usually feed once a week or even less, usually mild strength.

    What is your medium?
If soil/soil-less mix, I have always had toxicity and/or deficiency issues using hydro chems in those mediums.

Often too much of one chem locks out another, or pH makes them unavailable.

Other than a full flush and checking the run off for both TDS and pH, I don't know what to recommend. You are beyond foliar spraying micro nutes.

  3. Sorry, I see now you said you flushed. But are you giving it time to recover?
I would have probably flushed with straight water, then given it a few days allowing the roots to send out new growth before any new feeding.

  4. I only added 3ml cal mag but next feeding i will go stright water. Its in soin fox farm ocean forest. I feel like my lights are roasting them i maxed out height 28" ad turned one off for the short term.

    Thanks

  5. Sorry it's happening. Just with the way it came on so fast, I'm surprised your plant didn't show signs of heat/light stress sooner.

    Canoeing/cupping leaves
    Twisted/overturned leaves
    Bleaching

I roasted the shit out of my last grow, too hot with too much light in too small an area, and they never did that.

Hopefully they straighten out for you, this sucks when this happens.

You can take the wires off and loop them around the bars on the ceiling of your tent to get a couple extra inches or take some parachord and run it through the gold loops on the top of the light and sinch it up damn near against the ceiling.

  9. I had this same problem every grow for a year....

It turned out that I was severely under-watering because I didn't have a way to remove the runoff and I didn't want to leave them standing in it. Also I didn't want them to overflow and make a mess in the tent.

This last run I made some changes so that I could have easier access to get the plants out of the tent and water them thru and not worry about the runoff making a mess.

It's a pain in the ass but this last grow made it thru and the next set of plants are doing even better.

It always happened in the same stage of flower and I blamed it on the lights, heat whatever because I knew I was watering correctly....boy was I wrong lol

I may be wrong about your problem but it looks exactly like my problem and at the same stage of flowering

  10. Lack of oxygen. If soil too moist let dry out so roots can breathe
