planting my seeds after germinating them is it better to put them in a dark place til it sprouts or should i put it in light right away.this is my first grow sorry if i ask some stupid ?'s just want to get things right.
Having light shining on the soil before the sprout has broken the topsoil is nothing but a waste of electricity. When it sprouts, though, put a light on, fluorescents preferred. Then again, it may not be a bad idea to just leave a weak light on, just to make sure it's got light when it pops. It's up to you, really. ~Lycanthropy
Really it doesn't matter. If you put too stong a light on it, you'll end up drying out your soil. A weak flouro wouldn't be bad. Or just put them by or on your windowsill.
By the window is fine or under a weak florescent lamp. I Would recommend using cuttings in the first place tho, as you know what your getting, seeds could turn male on ye!
