Planting Taproot down?

root down is always best. even though the root will find its own way down, why not start it in that direction?

 

Sprout roots always go in the soil pointing down. Always.

 

Agree, though don't obsess over it -- if you can't get the seed to lie in the little hole you made with the taproot pointing down no worries, it will right itself.
