I have 19 plants that i am starting off indoors and the roots are popping out of the peat pots so i guess that means im gonna have to plant them out now. But my question is can i put them out in any way without slowly introducing them to sun because i must put them out now because of the roots and there is too much "static" for me to bring all those plants in and out of my house. Any help would be appreciated. Joey
This time of year, it should be ok to put them out directly, you do not say how tall they are, but so long as they're 'bout 6 inches it should be ok. You may have a problem with the wind though, are the stems spindly? if so, you may have to use some kind of support until the stems have thickened. Bamboo canes and plastic ties will do. Water them well when you re-pot and place them outside. Let us know how you get on.
