I'm just concerned my x2 plants are growing rather differently. Both are meant to be fem white widows, the smaller one seems fine and is growing. But the larger taller one does't seem to want to open up and fan it's leaves open, I dropped my lights down a few inches yesterday and through the day the taller plant did seem to respone and start to open up its leaves. After lights out it's back to having its leaves all tight together again, but it is growing ok. See photos below to see what I am talking about: Both plants: View attachment 137607 Taller plants with tight leaves/not opening up View attachment 137608 Does anyone have any ideas as to why my taller plants is acting the way it is? As of tomorrow the plants are both x3 weeks old. Growing under 400w MH, in grow tent with extractor fan.
hey G What type of soil/nute are you using? I am assuming cocouut and sum sort of chemical fertilizer. When plants leaves point upwards very sharply, it can mean a number of things. in this instance I see a few demarcations of leaves which leads me to believe the plant is stressed and cannot grow as much as it would In other words there is too much light or heat and The leaves are angling upward to decrease the surface area that is exposed to light. It's a survival strategy HTH CB/CW
