Plant too tall for grow box! Need suggestions...

    I left for a week and my plant was 16" tall. Came back, the bastard grew to 22.5" tall!! Damn thing grew overnight (over week? whatever).

    So, here is the picture...

    As you can see, its close to the lights now. Any taller and its gonna hit the roof. Just started flowering the day i got back (12/12 about 2 days ago). Im sure its still gonna grow some more, so what do you suggest doing to keep this sucker going till the sweet sweet skunky end?

    I have seen people break their plant very carefully to have about 1/2 of it grow sideways, then tie the end down with a string so it wont stand back up. Would this be a good way to go? Im trying to avoid making a new grow box.

    I wouldn't break your plant, but bend it down instead. I guess that's what you'll have to do.

    I'm just wondering, what kind of lights do you have in there? The plant looks good but the lights look dim.

    I had two 150 w cfls but with the plant gettng so tall I had to go down to 100 w warm white lite it also helpped to lower my temp i put a bigger fan in it now my temp is 82.deg max.where as before my max was 88.deg

    I didn't know they made 150w CFL's. Where did you aquire these?

    hey dood home depot. 9.97$ EACH BUT THE 100 W WERE7.97$FOR TWO AT WALMART .go figure that shit............live long and prosper..........

    ^^^ Yeah the lights get way cheaper as you go down in wattage. Around here:

    13 watts (60) = $0.77
    18 (75) = $1.50
    28 (100) = $5
