Plant too bushy

  1. hey guys my blue cheese is three weeks old and the stem is bigger than my 8 week old bagseed. The plant is way too bushy so should I just leave it alone or should I cut some fan leaves off

  2. Pruning is one way to correct that issue, but moving your light further away can cause them to stretch up instead of staying short and bushy. Just do the exact opposite of what you should do with a seedling, by keeping the light too far away.

  3. Are you getting ready to flower? I would personally leave it alone and trim up the bottom, shaded sugar blades (the 7-9 star non-budding blades) a few days before you begin 12/12.

If you absolutely have to trim it now for whatever reason, then go for it. Cut your stems close to the main stalk (the stems will ultimately die off anyway).

  4. haha im an idiot, i never thought of that tim , im gonna put my lights up a little bit, and fox im gonna flower in about 7 days, i just wanna make sure my flowering nutes are here before i trigger flowering, so im gonna do what you said fox and trim up the bottom, thanks guys both useful opinions
