  1. Hi guys and gals,
So I have been getting questions about when to plant outside? So BNW GTG I need ur imputs for sure!
So I plant seeds outside around 4/20. I only grow indicas outside during summer. I live in so cal desert. Indicas are more predictable outside. I also find they like heat better. This gives me 3 months of veg ruffly before the sun receeds and the flowering starts!
So I am flowering autos outside! I am experimenting with them. Trying to see if they will reveg at all and see if my light leaks will seed my autos late!
BNW has the set out dates for clones hopefully he sees this. Gtg can assist with the east coast info hopefully

  2. Seeds (Photoperiods) are not light aware for the first month or so. This is why they can be started outside a month sooner then clones. Clones are light aware at all sizes and will flower at the drop of a hat.

    :)

  3. Stumbles in... Sooo autos? I'll give 2 cents and see if it's correct . After you put them outside even if there's a light leak. Once they hit flower they should stay in flower. The trigger on them from the ruderalis sp* side of them should keep them in flower tell they finish. This is why they can finish even with 24 hours of light.

  10. Autos don't care about the light. They won't reveg.
With photos I've never had a problem with light leaks when growing outdoors in the summer. Mine get light leaks from my kitchen window and a security light, and it's never been an issue. My theory is the sunlight in the summer is so intense so you need a pretty damn bright light to throw them off, and the lights we use at night to see just don't have that type of juice.

  16. Hello @Heavn Good answer and well said! your totally right in your answer and with light leaks with autos should have no bearing once they start to flower there’s no stopping them as long as they get at least 12 hours of light.
