Plant READY? and I need a natural solution

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Jayblaine, Jul 20, 2018.

  1. Hey guys I am on my second batch of plants, My first 5 plants were 3 Males 2 Females but only one female survived, she had been showing buds for 2-3 weeks and I have no magnifying glass but the hairs are browning. She's stretched so I'm concerned if the buds aren't going to be any bigger as that's what I'm waiting for before harvest.

    Is she ready?

And my second batch of plants is all feminized seeds
    Northern Lights
    LA Ultra
    White Widow

    Non Feminized
"Lemon Skunk" x3 Weed maps bagseed

However my LA Ultra is growing strong but having some fuzz/mold how can I stop this naturally I don't have a good exhaust fan simply using a small fan on the plants for a slight breeze.

  2. Don't judge ripeness by the pistols. Many strains will form new pistols as the older ones die out but this isn't always the gospel. 2-3 weeks isn't even close to enough flowering time. Be patient. They should pack on some more flowers. The best way to judge harvest time is the trichomes color but without magnification of some kind, that's going to be difficult.

A mild solution of apple cider vinegar in water is good to combat early mold maladies. Spray all surfaces liberally at the beginning of lights out cycle. Moisture on foliage under heavy light can cause some nasty burns.

Good fresh air exchange rate is imperative to mold prevention in the humid environment of a grow box. Would be great if you could rig something up.

    Good luck

  3. Guys I need help!!
I tried a low solution of vinegar and water as suggested and two days later this is happening. All of my new growth looks healthy green but the old growth is yellowing and dying slowly

  4. What mix ratio did you use?

  5. "Mix ingredients: To make this fungicide, specifically use cider vinegar with an acidity of 5%. Mix about a gallon of water with three tablespoons of cider vinegar. ... Spray: Spray this fungicide on the affected plants."
