this is my frist time growing my own so started with one plant.this little baby is 6 weeks old and my question was in the picture i have added it has two lonely leaves at the bottom do i leave them on or cut them off just woundering and any help would be great. just found this site and would like to say from what i have seen and read it rocks.

i plan on growing it in my closet,i have good lights its vented to the outside but iam not sure how big of a pot i will need but i plan on letting this baby get as big as it can i have about 5 feet for hight and about 3 feet wide first time grower so if any other help would be great i read not to fert it to early,about fans,never over water it so i beleave iam on the right track.cant be doing to bad whats the best amount of lumens for a plant right now iam only using 1270 but growing great also how tall should i let it get before budding, would like to get as big as possible but is there a good height or does it matter.right now my lights on 24/7 should i lower it and go to 18/6 or just leave on24/7.well thanks for any tips anyone is will to offer
HIGH All, me I Always grow 18/6...another 2 or 3 weeks at least before growing 12/12. You can start feeding it now useing 1/4 strenght of the recommended dose. Gardens should receive 1000-3000 lumens per square foot. Successful gardens usually are lit at around 2,000 lumens per square foot.
o.k i bumped the light up to 2550 lumes next is how big of pot do i need to let it get huge before budding have lots of time want a big plant frist so far growing great.whats the tallest i should let it get before budding remember i want a big plant.thanks for any answers
Hi you might have time but do you have the height?????? when you switch to flower your plant will double in size sometimes it can triple......if you want a big plant i wouldnt use a pot any smaller than 20L....i would veg for 2 months if you want a big plant....moore veg time=big plants.. laters.
o.k guys frist time grower i just transplanted my plant and now its looks wilted how long will it take to come back around and should i leave light on 24/7 still.would it be alright to pinch the top of now while its like this.any help i say thanks in advance.
It works out, if your growing from clone... 18/6 2-3 weeks by which time i would move her to budding room and transplant to 5L pots. 8 weeks of 12/12 later ( depending on strain ) its ready. Ive only ever grown soil, and only indoors, and have no complaints about the results. You mentioned removing the bottom leaves. This practice is used to achieve a sea of green, attempting to stimulate bud growth at only the top area of the plant closest to optimum lumens, by removing growth lower down the plant. For your first plant, its perhaps better to hold back on pruning and observe the results of your environment. The amount you learn from getting just 1 plant grown, cropped and smoked is insurmountable. Some people like their plants fairly large before budding, ive found that a 15-30cm 2-3 week old plant 8 weeks later is a 80-100cm bud laden monster [ Bigbud and Hashplant are the strains i use ].
