Plant may be in shock! help please?

    I was cheking on my plant and I had it in the pot in my hand and my dog jumps up out of nowhere and knocked the plant sideways. My dad told me that its probably in shock and I should keep it in a dark place for a while. Is this true? What should I do? I have it in my closet right now. :confused:

    haha yeah, and im a girl and im only 17. the only reason hes cool with it is because i get good grades :hello:

    no direct sunlight is recomended if the plant was in shock and is wilting
