So i have had my plant for about 2 weeks and it is about 3-5 inches tall. The only reason I am concerned is because Yesterday the plant leaves were branching out(kinda droopy and laying out horizontally) and when i woke up this morning, the plant leaves are now pointing up diagonally. Is this bad?

edit: Im using a metal halide 400 watt light that is about a foot high from the plants. I have 4 plants under them. the plants are all in their own 3-5 gallon buckets. Also it looks like some of the leaves on the plants are dying.

  2. no... not bad at all. just means the plant is healthy

  3. Alright well then that is great. Also though, just one last question, one of the plants that is very small (maybe 4 leaves and is 1-2 inches tall) has 2 leaves that look kind of burned and dead. Like they are fully shriveled up and brown. But last night it grew 2 more leaves and they look healthy. Is there anything I can do to this plant to make it more healthy because it looks like it is not going to make it :(

Also I will try to get some pictures.

  4. A 400w MH a foot above 4" plants is way too close. The leaves are getting burned, and will continue to burn until the light is backed off. Try moving it to about 20-24" and see how they react. The burned leaves won't do anything, but new growth will be green and healthy. Once they get bigger, you can drop the light back down a little.

  5. I recently had this problem where the end of my leafs turned brown then turned up. I figured out they need to be flushed cuz there was nutrient build up. and my plants were unable to get enough nutrients from all the build up blocking what they needed. try flushing

  6. this is what it looks like. I just hope its not too bad.
