  1. give it lots more light.. or try again when you are better prepared

  2. Thanks, what just sunlight, or cfls because i have them and a room at exactly the right temperature?

  3. whatever light you have given it up to ow is not sufficient, hence the elongated stem. need to start over with proper equipment and setup imo. good luck

Damn dude you need to put the light inches away from the plant..you see how bad the stretching is? Light is way too far away

What are your plans for vegging/flowering? Light setup?

  5. Ok, thanks man, it is literally 1 day old, its growing really fast.

And in reply to iFour, i have a bunch of cfls, which do for now till i get my next paycheck, i have the ph and temp stuff, also the soil is perfect for growing I believe. Im vegging for 3-4 weeks or so, as its only my second plant, at 24/0, then ill move on to 12/12 when i think of flowering. Is any of this any good?

With CFLs you can put the light a few inches away..as long as it isnt touching a leaf..might wanna sprout another seed or two if you have it..then pick the best plant to flower if you only have room for one plant

Also, the intensity of the light degrades the further it is away from the plant, so always try to get your light as close as possible, your plants will grow faster and be healthier

  8. Ok, will do, thanks for your help mate :)

  9. ur gonna have to do some reading my man, we all had to go through it, so do u. at the start of each topic are stickies. these are from the folks that have become pros and share their knowledge. read all u can and you will be better equipped for issues. when u have a problem, u still may need to ask for help, we all do that too. patience is a virtue u WILL gain doing this great hobby

  10. I would wait until the 4-5th node before transplanting out of the pot so the root ball is sturdy enough to loosen and transplant. remember the more leaves your plant produces the more water it will need. Imagine that the size of the leaf equals the size of the water drop the plant needs. At the stage you are at it is a very small amount of water, so give her time to grow and don't over water. if the stem keeps getting longer then gently stake her up with a skewer until; the stalk thickens and the danger of stem rot has passed'

    Good luck

  11. Thanks, yea i have it properly set up now, cfls on it, not over watering, right temp etc.
