Plant is growing too tall

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by masub420, Oct 31, 2018.

  1. Hey, this is my first grow and I'm on week 5. Today one of the plants was touching the light, its growing way taller than the other one and I'm having problems since I can't raise the light much anymore. Also the other plant is like half the size, so my question is can I bend the top of the plant or do I need to cut it off?

  5. Take a set of pliers and crush the main stem for about 6 inches. That will act as a strain relief and let you bend it 90 degs without snapping. I use this trick to keep my outside plants from topping the wall and being seen from the street or neighbors yards.
