I dunno... Maybe in the vegetative stage, but flowering, I think you would need a sizeable enclosure (6' L, 3' H, 2' W) for thermo-regulation purposes and in case he needs to escape the odor or other variables through flowering... You would also have to design something to partially, if not entirely, trap in light in the section of the tank to be used. Good ventilation would be a must as with any animal you would want to house with a plant... How old is the chameleon? Length/weight? Species? I'd imagine an adult, male panther chameleon could really F' up some branches, bud sites,etc.. Though a veiled could be ideal... It really seems like it would be way more hassle than it's worth imo...
