plant herpes i mean spider mite control problem

  1. So a few of my plants have major spider mite infestations on my fan leaves. I'm 3 weeks away from harvest so I am too far along to treat chemically. Is it more harmful to just remove the leaves or to just let it go. I've tried just about any remedy that there is except predatory mites (lady bugs, azamax, mighty wash, neem oil with mild dish soap, SNS 217, etc. I've identified that I'm dealing with the two spotted spider mite. I'm tired of fighting the expensive battle and just finishing what I have then sterilizing my room with bleach, replacing new reflective material, setting off bug bombs, and using a sulfer vaporizor just in case. Is there any other advice anyone has so that I can be rid of this problem. I have better air circulation in my 16x8 x10 room than I do in my 2800 sq ft house (giant 12" centrifugal fan with charcoal filters for intake and 2 6" 435 cfm fans with carbon filters for exhaust along with 8 oscillating house fans to just keep things moving). What else is there to do? I'm fed up with the nonsense and could humbly use good advice.

  2. if your that close... i'd use lady bugs and turn down the air as low as you can get it after 24 hours....

safers soap is suppose to work well... I would avoid bombs at all costs...

  3. equal parts dyna-gro neem and dr bronners lavender oil with a couple drops of dish soap sprayed on the tops and bottoms of leaves every other day for three apps.
use rubber gloves and do each leave seperatly and don't miss any!
should put a hurting on them till you harvest!
after harvest break down and nuke everything clean everything and start up again!

if you use this spray regularly throughout your grow you will not have these fuckers anymore!

  4. That's what I planned but soap based products will ruin the outer crystals so I rather not use any spray. I had a a nice bug free room until I broke the golden rule and accepted a start from a friend and its been havoc ever since. Luckily I still have most of my keeper strains still as seeds. Soon as these finish I'll be starting fresh after I nuke the shit out of my room. I picked up some stuff from the local hydro store called SNS 217 and is by far the most effective product I have used. It not only kills hatched mites, it also forms a film on the epidermal layer of the leaf which causes a lot of the eggs to dry out and prevents them from hatching ( a lot of them not all of them). It's pretty spendy, but as I said out of everything o have thrown at these little bastards the SNS 217 worked best. It's made from rosemary so its not a harmful chemical like avid.

  5. if you take your time and spray your leaves one at a time you should be able to not spray to much bud and you should not notice any difference in high quality if you are only 3 wks away from finish!

  6. Time is of the essence here man...

Go get a Doktor Doom fogger (red can).

Organic Pyrethrum. Safe for use up til
    14 dayz before harvest.

Usually gets em in one shot.
