Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by SlamdSTI, Aug 26, 2020.

  1. Hey everyone I need some help I found these pods I think there sees pods but there only on one branch and when I open them there just green and have a goo in them. Are these seed pods or just new growth? I don’t have any males and no one around me grows. could it be from stress or a light source outside somewhere? Thanks for the help in advance!

  2. Kind of looks like that! But I don't really know. I found five seeds in my grow last year. Planted them this year and they look great. That's them in my signature. Went into flower week of solstice. Hope to harvest soon.

  3. Looks like immature seed bracts.
When growing outdoor its possible to be pollenated by bees from as far as 2 miles.

  4. So the seed pods are spreading more and more now what should I do?

there mostly on the bottom not the top of the big plant but the medium one is top of the plant it so weird never felt with this before?

  5. Is that your only plant? To be honest, if you have others, I wouldn't take any chances and get rid of it. If that's your only plant, ride it out and hope for the best.

  6. I have 3 females but neighbor has a porch light that’s stressing my plants and causing to hermi

also are these the calix just really swollen or are these seeds or balls with pollen?

  7. That just looks like a swollen calyx. You will usually see a cluster of balls there if it was a male.
Usually poor genetics, poor soil, fighting over soil/nutes, etc. are the main cause of a hermie. It's very rare for a plant to hermie because of a light leak. More common for it to re-veg. How close are your plants? Pot size? Type of soil? How's your watering and nutrient schedule? Any chance we can get pics of the other plants?

  8. Swollen calyx is my guess on that. The first pics definitely look like immature seeds growing. I dont see male flowers. The good news is, if those seeds were made from hermi pollen, you've got yourself some femized seeds. But, as @MrFooey said, could have been pollinated from other sources. Outdoor photos, at least in the northeast, are usually ready in the first 2 weeks of October.

  10. You mean the darkened colors? Looks like it could be rot, but can't really tell by the pic. Have you checked in and under the buds for rot or have you seen any caterpillars?

  11. It’s not rot or caterpillars it’s like the tips of the sugar leaves and the tips of the seed sacks are turning black it’s hard to get a good picture of it I’ll try again Tomorrow when it’s not so windy

  12. Here are some better pics
