plant flowering on 20\4 light schedule (not auto)

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by alagol, Mar 9, 2016.

  1. i have a clone from feminized og kush and it was on 18\6 light schedule and for some reason began flowering
(never happened before with this strain on 18\6) so i changed to 20\4 but 2 weeks later its still flowering
and i hove no idea why and how to stop it.
    any ideas?

  2. i am sorry but i cant take pics at the moment(problems with the phone), its a small plant and there are white hairs
on the lower part and few on the top (there aren't many hairs but it looks like beginning of flowering) also the plant is stretching

  3. reason I ask is because I'm not sure if what you are describing is flowering or just you noticing the preflowers.

pre flowers are normal you will get those near the end of veg, if there is actual buds developing then yeah it is flowering.

  5. Agree with posts above. Often times preflowers will look just like small buds putting out. I had a friend who had an indica plant that was just a tight little bush. Every time I went over there to see it before he flipped to flower, I swore it was already flowering. LOL If you've not had any light interruptions to throw off your light schedule, then I'd bet money it's just preflowers. TWW
