plans for a small hydro system

  1. here's what im thinkin.:confused_2:
    a big rubbermaid container filled....maybe a quarter of the way up with water. small fan mounted on one side with a hole in the other with the filter from a breath mask with dryer sheets stuffed in it to filter the smell. two foot daylight tubes with a scheduler. maybe...some sort of indica strain. 3 plants in pots with holes drilled on the side...each sittin on 3 clay rocks in the water, with a fish tank bubbler for each...bubbling underneath the plant in between the clay rocks. what do you think?
    also i read that if u put the plants in carbonated water its like co2 directly to the roots and its super good for the plants...is this true?

     
  2. I'm no expert, but I'm under the impression that plants dont take up co2 through their roots.. rather their leaves. roots want oxygen, hence the bubblers.
