Hi, I am half way through building my grow room but it has a quite steep sloping ceiling. It is just over 4m2 floorspace an 2.2m high at one end and only 1.3m at the other. I plan to have 2 x 600w lamps in here (although I wont be able to afford a second lamp for a while so I will only have one for the time being) and I was thinking would it be a goo idea to seperate off a veggy room and a flowering room? if so, would I be correct in thinking that the veggy plants would be ok under the low side of the room? what height do plants typically reach before transferring to flowering? Thanks
You can go to 12/12 from inchs tall its all personal preference and about size limitations. For vegging the slopped ceiling wont be a problem just put the small plants to the outside. For 12/12 do same thing just put bigger vegged plants in the middle and smaller ones to the sides. If plants get to tall you can always top them and use the tops as clones.
