I am moving into a new place that will allow me to start my first grow which I have wanted to do for a while. I am planning a small Hydro Grow in either a grow tent or a closet. I would appreciate any and all advice before in advance of building my grow. Here is what I have planned so far. -If I proceed with the grow tent it will be 16' square and if I go with the closet it will be no more than 20' square. -I will be growing in a residential home and prefering to play it safe will operate on the assumption of 20amp brakers at 120 volts in each room. To be safe I would like to stay below 80% which would be a max of 1920 watts. -I will be using an ebb and flow bucket system. -My current equipment list is as fallows: 1x 1000 watt HDS bulb, 2200k color 1x 1000 watt Metal Halide bulbe, 7200k color 1x 6" cool tube light fixture 1x 1000 watt ballast 1x 6" 400 CFM Carbon Filter & Fan combo 3x 6" 430 CFM Duct Fan 1x 25' of 6" Ducting 1x Bluelab combo meter (PPM, PPH) 2x Electric Outlet timer 1x Hygromter 1x 48" x 48" x 80" grow tent - I haven't included the items for the Hydro system its self as it will depend on if I go with the tent or closet and if I go with the closet then it will depend on the closets dimensions. QUESTIONS: - Is any of this rediculous overkill? I want to have the optimal amount of light for my grow and would prefer to be a little over than a little under. I am trying to avoid using an air conditioner by using the cooltube fixture with fans that offer more power than I need. I will have variable controls to turn them down but if it gets warm I want the option of turning them up. - I am not an electrician and am concerned about running this on a single breaker. Do you see any problems with this? - What am I missing? - I have done some research and will continue to read up on the best grow mediums and nutrient salutions but would also appreciate any recomendations. Please include pros and cons if you could : ) - Please feel free to chip in with anything you think would be helpfull. It is greatly appreciated. Thanks, MOB
