i havent gotten my own place yet so i cant start growing right away, but what are some steps i can start doing now to better prepare myself for when i actually get down to growing.It seems complex to me now so i need whatever prep i can get. any suggestions?
go into all the cultivation forums, open all the stickies in tabs, and start reading. thats really the only way. its gibberish at first, but keep at it for a week and it starts to make sense. this place is a goldmine of information, but you have to be willing to really sit down and read. smoke a bowl, put on some music, and get to work.

Read!!!! Get some books if you can, read the stickies, do your research. Is there ANYTHING you can grow where you're at? Veggies, flowers, houseplants? MJ is nothing special to grow. If you can do a decent garden, you can do decent mj. Just get the experience growing SOMETHING. Wet

It is intimidating, so ask yourself some questions. Does your grow have to be stealth? This basically splits in half the grow journals you should go read. There are many about both. Do you have some money to pump into this, or are you going to try to do it cheap? If cheap, look into CFLs and maybe a grow tent. If expensive, look into MH/HPS ballasts and bulbs and maybe into converting a room. If you try to tackle it all at once youll never get anywhere, so knock off little chunks. Go learn about lights, forget about seeds and dirt and nutes etc. Learn everything you can, then move onto another aspect of it. It aint too bad when you get going.
