Pistol Shrimps

    Pistol Shrimps have a unique snapping effect in which it creates cavitation bubbles, similar to Mantis Shrimps. The cavitation bubble reaches temperatures of over 5000 Kelvin which is approximately the temperature of the sun! They are fuckin' badass. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpheidae

    Wow. What a cool pet that would make huh? I wonder what would happen if you put your hand in front of that... Maybe I'll click the wikipedia link. yaaaa ill do that

    i seriously doubt it. its too small of a blast to do any serious damage to a large organism. i would imagine that it could damage some tissues though.

    I used to have one when I had a saltwater tank. It was pretty badass
