Pineapple Express Auto and Haze Auto at same time in aerogarden?

  1. I'm getting another Aerogarden tomorrow, I know a lot of people don't like them, but I do, and I've been moderately successful with them, with some modifications(see my current grow, link in signature)

    My plan is:
Pakistan Ryder growing in my current AG.

I want to plant my Barney's Farm Pineapple Express Auto and Dinafem Haze Auto both in the new one, same size as my current one. I know 2 plants, even autoflowers, is pushing it, but those both just grow the one main bud, est harvest 20-30g.

Will this work? Will I have enough room for the roots? There's plenty of room left with the big ass Paki even.

I just don't want to stunt yield on a plant that already is going to barely produce an oz, but I don't want to just grow one and wait all that time for an oz either.

Then, what I plan on doing is when I harvest the Paki, I'll plant my White Widow, full photo-period, in the old AG, and make it a mother, so I can have clones for the 5 gal bucket setups i'm going to make.

Comments welcome about my entire plan, but mainly need opinions on growing the two small autos together in the AG.

  2. aerogardens are useless. good luck

I know right, that's gotta be why I have that huge Paki in my other.

It's the grower that makes the plant, not the system, nutes, or anything else.

  4. I'm kinda loving my AG, and was thinking about buying the AG elite. It's got the benefit of "hiding in plain sight". For instance, if someone comes by and sees my one plant growing around with my basil and toms, it's not quite as...alarming as if someone found a grow closet.

And word, success is what you make it, it's about the gardener, not the tools.

  5. Also don't let anyone tell you the AG wont work I have the elite and its a dream for a small grow(1-2 plants) but if your looking for a big yeild you will never get it without upgraded lights and depending on the size of the strain one may dominate and kill the other if you have multiple plants in the AG

  6. If youre looking for a big yield you won't get it period with that res, or lights. I moved on to a hydro bin for growing and just use my AG for starting plants. Multiple plants to harvest is impossible, unless you have the smallest of autoflower strains, and then you arent harvesting much anyways. Basically, you could grow 7 plants in the 7 pod one, but overall their combined yield wouldnt be much more than a single plant grown in a 7 pod one, their isnt enough room for the roots.

Don't get me wrong, I love the AG, I have 2 myself, but it does have serious limitations that are more cheaply solved by buying a new system than modifying your AG, especially if you bought it new for $150+.
