pineapple chunk mainlined under advanced led ds100

  1. Well hello and welcome to yet another grow! If this is your first time joinin me then welcome! I encourage questions, comment, or suggestions. Okay a quick rundown of my situation goin on. Im growing in a cabinet that is a lil over 2x1x6 under an awesome led from advanced led's, which is on 24 hours during veg. I have a 171cfm hurricane inline fan with a carbon filter. The strain is pineapple chunk from barneys farm (thanks gorilla seeds!) growing in a 3 gallon pot filled with fox farm ocean forest with a few clay pepples on top to prevent my soil from bein disturbed when i water. I feed GH trio every other feeding. Two small fans inside to circulate air. The growing technique im tryin out this time is mainlining aka manifolding. I keep my temps between 72 and 78 at all times, humidity stay around 35 (cant fix that yet) well i think thats the basic info, let me know if i left anything out. Ill be posting updates and pics later today

  2. Subbed straight in man. Barney's Pineapple Chunk is a lovely smoke and I'm currently trying mainlining too (search Flux City for my journal, also got some Barney's Farm LSD in there) so I'm super interested in this one. Good luck!

  4. And theres my pics up to now. I first let my girl grow to a full 6 nodes (full nodes, not just starting) then topped down to the 2nd node (was gonna do 3rd but accidentally nicked the branch when topping. I waited a few days to let her recover then cleaned up the extra growth. Then after a while i topped both shoots to the 3rd node and cut the 2nd node off each side leaving nodes 1 and 3 leaving me with 8 colas and saving me a whole week or two of veg time. Ive let them grow a bit more and cleaned all nodes below the green plant ties. And now we're all caught up, i gotta go water her now ;P

  11. Fuuuuuuuuuuuck i feel so dumb, this whole time, like 2 months now, i been keepin my pH in the hydro range, not the soil range. Just noticed the first signs of a deficiency, should be able to fix it right up. Grrrr, guess this could explain the slow growth. Also noticed she was a bit droopy and i misdiagnosed the problem as underwatered but nope, now she's overwatered for sure. All in all she hasnt been havin a good week lol, but nothin too bad. Gonna be fightin the heat once summer peaks around the corner.

  13. Well, overwatered or not, im gonna go ahead and flush her with some 7pH'ed plain water followed by a light feeding. Gotta stop these deficiencies before they get outta hand

  14. My own efforts are a pale shadow; I've not been able to maintain the tighter silhouette yours displays but the technique mimics the results. These broke ground starting on the 9th of last month and should be ready for short hours before too much longer.
