  1. I sometimes work at the psych-ward at a hospital and I\'m very much around pills. I\'ve noticed that they come in the strangetst and most spaced out colours, some white, purple, fluorescent green or red, etc. Now if I had a paranoid psycosis, I\'d definitely get paranoid if someone offered me such a pill. Now I wonder....why the colours????????

One of my own theories is that the manufacturers first eat their own pills, then decide what colour they should have....

  2. lol im a nurse and all pills not only psych pills have weird colors...pretty bad to try to keep lil ones from takin em when they\'re sooooo perty lol :p :D dunno the reason but mostly brand named ones are colorful generics are usually duller...maybe thats why they\'re cheaper :smoke:

  3. Probably so that when a nurse goes to give the patient a pill,
he or she can tell the dose just by looking at them.

    Color coded.
