Pictures of sick plant

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Fitzgerald, Jan 28, 2010.

  1. I think my ph was off for a while. I tested it and it was around 4.5 so that could really be the reason. But the ph has not always been off and the plants show several different symptoms such as soft, dark green leaves, dry leaves, completely yellow leaves that are also were soft and just hanging down and leaves with brown spots and brown tips.

I would also like to know (just by looking at the leaves) whether I might be using too much fert or too little. I dont have an EC meter.

    Your help is appreciated.

  2. Ph for hydro needs to be about 5.8 bro. you gotta flush your plants somehow, and get that PH stable.

  3. you should go get a meter they help alot .. my ph never drops it stays at 5.7 to 5.9... you got to get that straight .. diffenert ph levals give you nutrian blocks you dont want that good luck

  4. I agree you need to flush. I have included a chart showing nutrient availability at different pH's. You probably have more than one problem.
