Pics of your stash jar

Discussion in 'Cannabis Stash Showcase & Strain Photos' started by Sshack, Mar 2, 2010.

  1. How do you keep your MJ fresh, vaccum sealed, Mason Jar or simple baggie? let's see the pics.

  2. I keep mine in an old plastic vitamin jar. I've had it for years. I've tried glass jars, but nothing beats my white plastic jar.

before it was double baggied and in a tupperware container

  5. Mason JArs are For the win, always keeps my shit extra fresh no matter how long it stays for

  6. Well whenever I buy a big amount it usually comes in a mason jar. But then I break everything down into quarters in gladware containers cause they're cheap and do a good enough job for as long as they need to. Plus, they're stackable!! How neat is that?!

Usually keep my bigger amounts in jars or the airtight ziploc containers or smelly proof bags
I keep my personal smokes in this jar (trainwreck in there right now)

  9. What's so overly special about mason jars?

  10. you know how on the top of snapple bottles you press your finger on it and it does that little pop sinky type thing (cant explain it im a retard) well thats what mason jars have, that meens its air tight homie. you can literally keep weed fresh for years in it.

  11. they're the dankies! haha naa but fo real i use mason jars cuz they are smell proof and keeps em fresh and cures em nicely.
and they come in many shapes and sizes. kinda(big or small i guess) lol:smoke:

  12. Three words, air tight seal. They keep your buds from drying the fuck out.

  13. I tried one of those from walmart and ended up with glass shards in my herb!

It broke at the top, from the plastic seal area... the glass is cheap, get rid of it!

  14. Mason jars are great, I use them all the time.

  15. i have an entire ounce in a mason jar since mid feb i cant smoke now but the mason is keeping my weed exremly fresh until my breaks over. they work great

  16. I picked up a few of these mason jars at a local craft store for a buck or so a piece (sorry for the crappy Blackberry photo) ...

The labels on the top are to identify the strain. Right now I'm smoking some type of Sour Diesel, and Matanuska Tundra.

I also have one of those mini-vaccum sealers with the ziploc bags, but to me that's too much effort. Call me lazy, but I don't like vacc'ing my stash everytime I smoke. I'd rather just cap the jar.

I've got no real complaints about the jars though, but I think the next time I buy I'm gonna' give one of those glass airtight food container gimmicks a try. My roommate stores his veggies and cereal in those, and I seem to think they'd be pretty sweet for weed.

  17. Also, on an unrelated (but somewhat related) side note. I'd like an opinion on this.

I use my grinder everytime I smoke, and every once in a while I'll grind more than I actually want/need, so I'll just put the excess back in the jar and smoke it next time. Last week my buddy told me that I'm drying out the weed quicker if I do that, even if it's in a jar.

I think that's BS, mainly cause I've always done it and never had an issue, but I figured this is as good a place to ask as any.

  18. shit ill use bags or medicine viles:eek:

  19. Well of course mj will dry out quicker if it is broken up, but it will be in the mason jar. I don't see a problem with it, but yes it may be a little dryer than the others.

  20. Yeah, I've been doing that for God-knows how long and never had any issues. Just figured I'd ask.
