Pics of my first grow

  1. Here is a link to a picture of my first grow for your view and review. The tallest one is 16" and the other two are a foot. I am starting the flowering process today. They were even bushier until I gave them all a little haircut the other day. I am hoping/praying that at least one is a female. Only time will tell... Comments/critiques welcome.

  2. very, very nice. Good luck with that.

  3. Yeah, they look good - very healthy and bushy.

What are they, 4, 5 weeks into veg? When are you going to flower them? [edit - nevermind, today I see!]

What lighting are they under? 400W, 600W HPS? It's getting good results whatever it is.

+rep for a mighty fine looking first grow. Start a grow journal and lets see how they turn out :)

  4. Very bushy ^^

  5. Thanks for the generous comments! They are about 5 weeks old. I did not keep a good record of when I started. I will keep a log with my next grow. I used miracle grow potting soil (I know most seem to hate that, but it has served me well so far). My PH is holding steady at about 6.5 (slightly acidic). I have them under a dual ballast 400W MH/HPS system. Set me back almost 500 bucks, but I think the investment was well worth it. I put a timer on the lights today to start the 12/12 flowering cycle. I just pray that a got at least one girl out of the three. Next time I will start with 6 or so plants to increase my chances. They were grown from bag seed. Two of them I am pretty sure are some sort of indica strain and the other is anyones guess. I will post pictures when/if I get any buds going... All in all I am happy with my first attempt to grow my own weed. I would like to thank all of you who post "how to's" and all the invaluable advice!

  6. As soon as you see flowers, mark it down on your calandar. That way, you know exactly when and how long you have been flowering.
