Hey guys i figured i'd start a new thread cuz of the new light. Ok this is my first big upgrade to my grow closet since i started growing which was like 3 or 4 years ago. I got the nice UFO LED light which has 90 - 2 watt led's. I got the one with the 2 watt led's cuz obviously it will be brighter than one with 1 watt led's. It was actually kind of cheap, it was about 200 or so. On to the plants, the other plant is a bagseed and the buds are a lot bigger on the bagseed than on the vio kush. The vio kush is of course under the led light, theirs a nice pic of that one big bud on it. Im not impressed so far with the vio, i really hope the buds start to fill in soon. Both are around 8 weeks flowering so i think they will be done in about 3 weeks or so, what do you guys think. Peace.
The ones under your LED do look a LITTLE small for 8 weeks. You should see an explosion of growth within the next week. Unless thats just genetics. Nice grow.
The plant under my new led is the vio kush. I just put the led light up two days ago, so before that i used 6 cfl lights. So using cfl lights can make the plant smaller but i am upset with the growth of the vio kush, my bagseed has way bigger buds. I also remember when i grew my blue cheese the buds were huge, i think its the strain, so im not gonna ever be growin vio kush again. You live and learn i guess though. no problem Lol yea i think you got a problem when you've got bagseed outgrowing a clone lol. Must be some amazing genetics.
Yo Eddy, Zach. Loving the UFO. Did you remove some of your CFL's? AS far as your Bud size, sucks that they aren't living up to par. Hopefully Quality will be fantastic. You know what they say Quality over Quantity. Looking forward to seeing harvest photos. Whats your ETA til harvest? Be interesting to see your 8th grow under LED. Catch ya later DOT
Hey doin. Ya I had to get rid of about 4 cfl's. I put the bigger ones in with the bagseed. Ya it sucks it's not gettin bigger but I think in about 2 weeks they will start to fill in. So I'm lookin at about a 13 week flowering period which gives me about 4 weeks give or take. Thanks
Hello doin. I really dont think the ufo is going to do much for this plant because its so late in flower. But for my next grow im gonna have the ufo vs my 2 big cfl's, its gonna be interesting. I'll have two bagseed under cfl's and the seed I get next, lets just say midnight kush. Then that and another bagseed under the ufo and compare the growth. Peace

Hey hd, thanks for lookin. Ya I been growin with cfl for like 5 years now, and ive harvested about 6 nice plants using cfl's. So im excited to see what the difference will be next time. Thanks again man, i would say merry christmas but i dont believe in that shit haha. So have a good one. Peace
I'm not familiar with Vio Kush but I've grown different cuts of OG Kush in the past... The thing with kush is it's hard to get dialed in, it's better to tie and train rather then to expect one main cola. I dont know if that helps or not but maybe good information to keep for next time? If I were you I would've gotten a cheap 400w or something for the money you spent on the UFO.
Thanks for the info. I would have gotten a hps system a long time ago if i can manage the heat, but i cant, so the ufo is great for me. Its bright as a fuck, whatever that means haha, but its really bright. Im gonna start a new thread because im gettin closer to harvest, so check it out theres new pics. You're 8 weeks into flowering but how old are your plants (From seed to current)? I've had my 2 plants in veg now for about 5 weeks. I was planning on keeping them that way for another 3 weeks, then letting them flower for 6-8. But right now my biggest plant is only about 8 inches tall. Yours are a lot fuller and taller then mine so I just wanted to get an idea of where you're at in the process vs where I'm at. Your plants look good mang, keep it up!
Hey wjb thanks for your reply. I vegged my plants for about 27 days, so they are about 10 weeks from seedling. So youre going to veg for 2 months, i hope you have enough room haha because those plants are going to be huge. Its ok if their still short, maybe you have your lights too close. Plus it depends on what kind of lights ur using, soil, nutrients, and just general care for the plant, also temperature can really fuck up a plant.
