Hey guys, these 4 plants were brought from outdoors because of the cold. They are about 4 months into flowering and i can tell their not ready yet. Their is also brown spots on most of the leaves, so if anybody can help me with how much longer this will take and the yield, and the brown spots. Thanks guys.
4 months into flowering or from seed...get a magnified glass from radio shack. check see if the trics are half amber half cloudy...what strain is that???id personally say chop if u really been flowering for 4 months or your gone start to lose potency. cause (MOST) strains get chopped 9-12 weeks into flowering!
they are def not ready yet, look at them, the hairs are still white, and theres barely any bud structure yet I know that most strains get done with 9-12 weeks in flowering but if the plant is stressed which it was when it was transplanted from outside, the plant could take awhile to recover i dont think its root rot because they were transplanted good and are in 5 gallon buckets anyother opinions
about a month ago i kind of really want to know what the spot problem is if anyone could help out there
its not a magnesium deficiency, its a calcium deficiency. In a mag def (which I've dealt with), lower leaves yellow as petioles turn purple. treat it with dolomitic lime (garden lime), or liquid Ca, or carbonated Ca. lots of options.
One you fix the problem, you still gotta deal with the issue of 4 months flowering being waaaaaayyyyyyy off.
Wrong. I have dealt with a mag deficiency caused by a low ph before. Tale, tale signs are when your leaf tips point down and start yellow. This is followed by small brown, necrotic spots. Phosphorus deficiency on the other hand will cause your fan leaves to go purple. Hate to burst your bubble. Heres a link. Marijuana Plant Abuse
thanks for the help guys, its under a 400 watt hps but it doesnt matter really cuz their will be real seeds starting indoor so its all ok, thank sgain
looks like this plant has regenerated mate, you need to keep the hours on 12-12 and lower you nitrate feed.
From Ed Rosenthal's Marijuana Growers Handbook: "Ca deficiency stunts plant growth and makes the leaves turn dark green. Large necrotic (dead) blotches of tan, dried tissue appear mostly on new growth but also on other plant parts along leaf edges...Problems migrate to the older growth, which browns and dies. Stems and braches are weak, lack flexibility and crack easily." "Magnesium deficiency starts in the lower leaves. The veins remain green while the rest of the leaf turns yellow, exhibiting chlorosis. The leaves eventually curl up, and then die. The edges of affected leaves feel dry and crispy....The deficiency is quite apparent in the upper leaves. At the same time, the stems and petioles turn purple. " now, PERSONALLY, I'd take the word of the world renowned, famous, published author over some website any crackpot can throw up. and, btw, the many pictures in this book look exactly like what you have posted, indicating what I said. Plants with mg def look bleached out, pale green, with NO symptom of necrosis indicated. I am right, treat the calcium deficiency. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Lack of calcium in the soil results in the soil \tbecoming too acid. This leads to Mg or Fe deficiency or very slow stunted \tgrowth. Treat by foliar feeding with one teaspoon of dolomatic lime per \tquart of water until condition improves. With magnesium Lower leaves yellow and may even turn white while veins \tremain dark green. Blades die and curl upward. Calcium loss does not induce necrosis. Nor does it cause stems to redden. Its a well known fact. Here's a chart to educate you. Cannabis Nutrient and Deficiency Table
Do not let these similar symptoms fool you. A calcium deficiency can cause a mag deficiency. this is why you encounter red stems and necrosis.
need help? stop bs'n, four months in flower???? some were between 60 and 95 days, depending on the strain. indicas earlier, the more sativa the longer till finished... your nugs don't look small, they look young, they look like my plants at 3 to four weeks. in flower is not from the time you flip the lights, but from the time you begin to see the plant start to through hairs.
