As the title says I'm having trouble with two of my plants, it was three but the problem fixed itself on one of my plants. I switched the lights to 12/12 on 7/18 and has still not shown sex yet.

I checked the ph of the water a couple days ago and was a little lower than 6, maybe 5.7-5.9 on the bushier plant. I think I corrected it today with higher ph'd water. Checked the run-off after doing so and it was around 6.3. I will do it again next watering to raise it up a little more.

The ph on the plant that "fixed itself" was in the normal range last time I checked it and is doing good. I'm almost certain it was/is a Ph problem.

The lower leaves started to turn yellow on the tips, then moved in to around the veins and then they started to turn brown and die off.

It started about a week and a half ago and thought it was normal cause it wasn't spreading, well it started spreading a couple days ago and I want your guys' opinions on what it could be.

I vote ph which is causing lockout of various nutrients

    soil: MG potting soil
Only given nutes twice because the soil is time release. never had a problem with burn even as a seedling
    Never under-over watered

You can see the current grow in my sig, thanks for reading!

PS; the solo cup grow is for experiment purposes only lol

  2. It looks like a nitrogen deficiency. Imho

I've given it nutes a couple days ago, nothing has changed.it's been almost two weeks since switching to 12/12. Why would my other plant be fine after it was doing the same thing? Wouldn't you consider Ph part of the problem since the one that is fine now has a correct Ph balance and the one that isn't is Not on the the correct level.

Since I haven't been able to sex them yet, wouldn't that be too much nitrogen or Ph lockout?

  4. I kinda figured that, it is spreading up the plant quite fast though. You didn't really tell me something I didnt know  but thanx

New growth is doing well as long as I can fix this problem
