Got 5 bills to drop on new glass. SG stemline w/ 8arm perc has been on my list for a while. Wanted to see what you guys think before I pulled the trigger on it. Anything else I should consider?
That would be a excellent bong to have. But for five bills you can get some sick custom glass on etsy.
Just depends on which glass type you really are (functional or heady). If you into functional glass then the SG would be great, if you want functional and heady look into a custom order through DWB glass.
Thanks for your inputs, I'm definitely looking for functionality > heady on this pick up. Anything else I should look at?
Sorry to bump this post but I rather bump it than create a new thread. Anyways, I'm thinking about a stemline --> 8 arm SG as well. Are there any other options that come close to functionality for around $500?
i know BC has some new stemline production pieces rumored to be coming to market soon, and I know BC has also done a couple of colabs with steve, so I'm sure he's gotten some tips on replicating the design. If your heart is set on the stem to 8 though get ready to battle for it with a shit ton of other people
that wouldnt compare to the rip of a Stem/8. Definitely get the Stem/8. I have owned many many expensive pieces of glass, and the stem 8 is my favorite
yeah I was looking at the toros and I think they run 600-700 around here for the two chambers tubes. I've always liked what the BC guys were doing...maybe I'll check them out. The stem/8 just looks so awesome though. Gata find one on BM
Syn showerheads are veryyyy nice. You can get a fullsize for around 350$, i really love how showerheads hit, it forces the smoke inwards instead of out. Never hit a sg stemline tho, so i really cant compare. Just throwin that out there
I've had a few Sg pieces and a few other high end tubes including a fullsize showercap from syn. The syn is definitely a good option for the price but it won't come close to a stem 8. Not that it isn't a good piece by any means just that dual chamber and steves attention to detail are unmatched. Don't bother with DWB. Despite what anyone says at the end of the day you'll be left with what you paid for, an okay looking worked tube that has okay function. Not that they aren't getting better but their no where near the level of SG. If you save up an extra hundred or two you could snag a worked stem 8
couldnt have said it any better. and guys im sorry if you try to compare DWB to SG your out of your mind, and probly have not hit a SG before.
Woah woah woah woah woah. Woah. Let's not get carried away here, Steve at sg can put out some sick pieces. I love the workmanship you get out of an sg piece. But the same for Toro, and its actually better workmanship. Comparing an sg stemline 8 arm to a toro 7/13 or even a circ to circ is like comparing a corvette to a Bugatti. There both awesome, but one is really expensive and can break the land speed record. Hahaha, I mean you entitled to your opinion, im just surprised you think sg is better.
I have to disagree with you here......Just owns both and so do some of my crew.....every single one of them prefers SG pieces. Toro makes a great product for sure but I think that SG is setting the mark for quality and innovation right now......imo and may others SG is the undisputed king of the hill.
Yea you do! You haven't lived until you've ripped a nice stemline of any kind. I tried vapor-bonging my king stemline with my ssv, and wow. Smashed but it's so smooth! Def get some sg you'll adore it.
