Picking Up 10.5G, Should I Ask Him To Bring A Scale?

    I have not picked up this amount in about a year and a half (half 0), I usually stick to quarters. The person i am getting it from is a coworker who has his own dealer. I trust this guy up and down cause we work together everyday. When I have an extra 10-$15 i give it to him as a thank you for helping me out. So to the question...I should be getting this 10.5 on monday, I'll probably have him come up to my place and exchange money/weed (rather not do that amount in a car in a parking lot), should i text him today and ask him if he can bring a scale with him to measure it out? When i picked up the half 0, the dealer at the time was fine with weighing it out (completely different dealer tho). lmk blades!

    If your friend gt scales then yeah tell him to bring thrm up with him.
    im a bit confused did u say u getting half oz cz that would weigh 14grams how much u buying and paying

    In the past the largest amount I have picked up was a half 0, this time it will be a quarter+an eighth (10.5), dude only sells in fixed amounts, says it messes with his stash otherwise

    If he always does business like this, I wouldn't bring a scale or ask him to weigh it in front of you.

    Yeah man cause who goes around buying ten and a halfs... And if you're sketched abt the amount you'll receive don't risk so much money. Buy an eighth or a quarter. Scale it. And move on to bigger purchases later.

    Otherwise you're going to get ripped off.
    Then come on here with a hissy fit about how "imma fuck him up"
    Everyone will laugh and you'll be out some money.

    Your making such a big deal over 10.5g, like thats not even anything. Then you wana ask your friend who is doing you a favor by getting you weed to scale it in front of you? What if he doesnt wana have a scale and a bag of Jane on him at the same time, cause thats 10x riskier than having just the herb. And what if its short of 10.5, are you gonna tell your friend they owe u that extra weed or try and get them to go back and bug his guy for the rest?

    Just give your co worker the money, get the bag of weed and be done with it.

    Yeah, like SmokeErrythang said, if you trust him like you said he shouldn't need to bring the scale. And if he does happen to get caught, he can't say it's for personal use when he has a scale, not likely to happen but still possible. You should be able to get a good idea by looking at it and feeling the density of the nugs.

    Im a college kid who works a minimum wage job with no 'mommy n daddy money fund' plus I have to pay outta pocket for summer classes so I like knowing that I am getting what I paid for. It's not that im sketched more so, would it be alright to ask a person i trust to scale it out, this is where the issue arises. IDK what Jane is smokeerrythang. The only reason Im picking up this amount is because this will be the last time I will be able to pick up for the summer, if i had the option i would just keep getting quarters

    sucks dude i get my mom and dad to buy my drugs all the time just like 95% of people of gc (sarcasm). I always middle man weed to co workers at my work never charge more never take from their bag, if they ever asked me to bring a scale I would be pissed and offended that they are so greedy that I would stop middle manning it.

    Exactly. I paid 5 bucks for mine. To china a little while to get it to me but I got it.

    If you want to know what's you're getting 5$ isn't much.

    Eh, you can ask him to bring his scale but I consider it a faux pas. Especially when they're so cheap yet risky to carry. I would tell you no personally, never met a dealer who was stupid enough to carry his gear AND product.

    I appreciate the helpful comments, i gotta stretch this 10.5 till july plus my kief, i will forgoe asking him about the scale.
     
    Not sure if your currently in college, graduated, or in your 40's but alooooooooot of these college kids these days are only able to get their drug of choice because of their parents bank account, lol i wouldnt say wanting the amount i paid for to be greedy at all. I'll be straight up right now, if he gave me 9g instead of 10.5 i wouldnt be able to know, that was my only concern

    Your best bet in this and any situation like this would be to get your own scale.
    If you had a scale, you could ask him if his dealer weighted it in front of him. If he says yes, cool, get your weed and weigh it after he is gone. He has given his word for the amount, so if you weigh it less you can call him and cuss him out all you want.
    Since you don't have a scale, either take his word for it (but make sure you don't keep doing that for ever - get your own scale eventually) and get it as it is, or tell him something like "hey man, my scale broke (or sth), could you bring your own?", so that you give him the message that you ALWAYS measure your weed, so it's not like that you don't trust him specifically.

    You mean in quantity? He already said that he is a broke college student, so I would think that even buying 10g's at a time is an overkill for his pocket.
